Hosts are compensated to cover costs, with a little extra as a thank you for welcoming our wonderful international students.
The cultural exchange is deeply rewarding for both students and hosts, and many of our experienced hosts—especially mums and dads whose own children have grown up—find great joy in providing a warm, family-style environment. In comparason to
STUDENTS SHARING A RENTAL UNIT WITH ANOTHER STUDENT
Rent: $700–$800, plus food and electricity/gas.
Rental Bond: $2,800–$3,200, plus 4 weeks’ rent in advance.
Estimated total living cost: + around $1,200 weekly shared between two students.
A homestay is one of the best options for students to live comfortably and focus on their studies in Australia.

VIP Rooms: (if available)
To qualify for the VIP rate, the room must include all Standard Room features plus a private bathroom—either an ensuite or a separate bathroom for the student’s own use.

If a student requires a special diet, an additional $45 fee will be paid on top of the standard weekly rate.
